Cupcakes!!!

Everyone loves cupcakes! 

They taste good, they look good and the smell good. 

Here is a simple but amazing cupcake recipe.

Ingredients 

100g of butter

2/3 cup castor sugar

2 eggs
1/2 cup o milk with a squirt of lemon juice

1 1/4 cup of self raising flour
2 tsp of Vanilla /vanilla bean paste
1/2 tsp of bi-carb soda.

Method

Heat your oven to 180 degrees celcius.
Line a cupcake tray with pretty patty cases.
Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Make sure they are at room temperature. With an electric beater mix ingredients together.
Place mixture into your patty cases till 3/4 full.
Place tray/s in oven and cook for around 10 - 12 minutes.
Remove and allow to cool, then ice.

                                                 Butter Icing  

Ingredients 

1 1/2 cups of icing sugar 
60- 100grms butter 
Pinch of salt to taste
Splash of milk using only enough to get the consistency you would like. Start with two tablespoons.
Food colouring of choice
Decorations of choice

Method

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with electric beaters on high till combined - creamy and light.

EJ12 Girl Hero Book Review

I think this book is great and it made me feel inspired.

In this book EJ12's mission is to stop the evil agency SHADOW from stealing the precious golden statue in Italy. EJ12 goes to Italy and looks for clues to help her find keys that will lead her to a secret door. 
Will she stop evil agency Shadow in time before they find all the keys first to unlock the door. 

I think it was a great idea to:

*Have Emma and Nema learn to be friends again. Nema works for evil agency Shadow.

*Have a mysterious castle with secret passages.

*Have her friends involved - team work is always the best.


 This book was incredible!!!!! The pizza sounded delicious at the end.

Truly Tan Jinxed Book Review

A great book, I loved it!n It made me laugh and feel happy.

In this book Tan's Father buys an old tram that is haunted. Tan sets out on a mission to prove to everyone that this mysterious tram that has paranormal activity around it is in fact Jinxed. Will she find out the truth and is is haunted?

 Its amazing how you made:

* Those little boxes that pop up through the book to explain what words meant.

*You put photos of real objects and things in the book.

*Made Tans family very different from each other.

This book was so cool I didn't want to stop reading it to write the review.

 Keep up the good work Jen Storer.

The Diamond and Pixy Horror Show!

We have two Guinea pigs named Diamond and Pixy.

Here is a shocking story about them, it shocked EVERYONE in my family especially MUM! It was a mysterious case that needed solving.

One day when Arden and myself where at school, mum went outside to clean out the guinea pig cage. We had two girl guinea pigs. Mum opened the cage door and got the biggest shock of her LIFE - there were three half eaten guinea pigs lying on the grass.
"Diamond you ate Pixy" mum cried. "What am I going to tell my daughters".
Just then Pixy shot out of the the guinea pig house.
"Diamond, Pixy!!! Who are the other half eaten guinea pigs?" Mum asked.
It turned out that one of them had had babies but sadly they did not survive.

69 DAYS LATER

Pixy was super fat. I thought that I had fed her to much spinach but but the next morning, I went out to the cage and there were three little hair balls, warm and soft and very alive.
Pixy was back to normal size and we realized that our two girl guinea pigs were, in fact, a boy and a girl. We had three sweet baby guinea pigs and they were so very cute and adorable.

Diamond was a boy with the prettiest name around and the case of the half eaten guinea pigs was finally solved.

Tip: It taste better eating it with family.

POPCORN RECIPE

* Air pop some popcorn (get an adults help cause it get's real hot).

* Add your choice of flavouring: melted butter, sea salt, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, sugar with butter and lemon - what every you love.
